Windows are trimmed and some are painted.
Front of the house
Profile of the north side. We dropped one of the windows down a couple of inches to make them evenly matched and legal egress for bedrooms. Now, whatever room you're in, if there's a fire, just open a window and jump!
Hardwood floors exposed. I like them.
The cabinets are going up. The tall cabinet next to the fridge allows for the freezer door to open.
Our stove arrived yesterday. It's a downdraft like what we have in our current place, because we loved that feature so much! But, of course, the hole for the blower is right where a joist is. Bob had to cut it and frame it out. So, that was done today.
Here's the tile that Bob gave us for the back door. He wanted us to put something there for traffic and shoes, but we weren't sure. So he offered up this that he had leftover from some job that matched our brickwork in the rest of living areas. Hopefully it also matches our crazy tan and red berber carpet.
First view of our hardwoods in our bedroom.
Richard getting another couple of cabinets squared away (pun intended).
And some wall shelves are up. Woohoo! It's looking real.
So far, I'm impressed. The finish on the cabinets is beautiful. I can't wait to see it all together. Countertops will be measured on Tuesday. Buying tiles on Monday. Floors will be sanded in less than a week!
