Buzz

I wish it were just his summer hairdo and not a fixation.  But alas, his hair now looks respectable and he's wanting to shave it all off again.  No amount of "I love your hair!" and "it makes the girls swoon" seems to make any difference.

So if the cops pull me over for speeding, my excuse will probably be: "There was a barber back there!  I didn't want my son to see him.  I'm sorry officer.  I'm sure you understand."

NOOOOOO!!!! I was just thinking of you today. I saw this young boy maybe 9 or so. He had the best brown curls that just bounced as he ran to help his mother do grocery shopping. And I thought of your boy. That was today! Does he look and feel so grown up!? We'll be cutting Blake's hair at the end of summer. Taking off a whole 10 inches or so! Get ready for school!

This was done in May. Joel's grown out his hair to a decent length now. I'll post current pictures soon. He lost all of his curls at his first haircut. :(

Jamie on the other hand has a full head of them and I can't bring myself to cut them. The old ladies repeatedly tell him he should have been a girl. I'm hoping he doesn't remember that in 10 years.

I love short boy hair! Maybe because I hate combing kid hair and my girls have looooooong hair. "Chop, chop!" thats my motto. Joel still looks as handsome as ever.
