Jamie asked me to tell a story before nap-time today. Before we could get off the changing table, he told me the following, which I immediately transcribed:"Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Jamie.
He lived in a house with his mommy, daddy, and Joel.
One day, he fights with Joel.
And the manager told him not to fight with Joel.
And he did it again.
Then the manager told Joel not to fight with Jamie.
And he did it again.
The manager told him not to fight with Joel.
And he did it again.
So the manager put him in jail."
I have no idea who the manager is or when he learned to tell stories. I'm pretty sure this is his first.

Maybe he was mispronouncing "manger"?
Joel said Brynn told them that story one night when they were bothering each other instead of going to sleep.
