But today, I took Jamie to school and went for a walk around the trails that I had seen from the road near their playground. I was shocked to find that this is surrounding their school:
Is that a suspension bridge!?!?
Why, yes it is!
Breathtaking ravine!
Thick ferns covered the ravine.
This bird was busy building a nest. The fluff he had gathered made him look like he had a beard. He let me get close and kept hopping down the trail like he was taking me somewhere.
Not sure what kind of berries (salmonberries?) these were but this is where the bird left me standing. Either he was showing me something cool or trying to poison me.
Here's my bird friend again on the way back.
